Purpose: The funding would be used to develop and deploy a Synagogue Resource Officer program for the community of Bexley (a 2.5 square mile community comprising three synagogues with over a thirty percent population of Jewish residents). The project is an appropriate use of taxpayer funds because it will assist local law enforcement efforts to ensure public safety in and around places of worship in the Bexley community.
