Fall 2026 Digital Communications Intern with the Office of Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03)

The Office of Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) is seeking a Fall Communications Intern. The internship will run from late August to early December 2026, with expected hours of 9:30AM - 5PM Monday through Friday. Reasonable schedule accommodations will be made on a case by case basis.

The individual in this role will work closely with a fast-paced communications team. Qualified candidates have strong writing and social media skills, and a desire to help create engaging content. Graphic design and video editing experience is preferred, but not required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting social media content and designing graphics
  • Editing and captioning videos
  • Taking photos during Committee hearings and events
  • Supporting the overall digital communications strategy of the Congresswoman

Ohio ties are preferred but not required. To apply, candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, AND at least one of the following:

The Office of Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) is seeking a Fall 2026 intern. The internship will run from late August to early December 2026, with expected hours of 9:30AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday. Reasonable schedule accommodations will be made on a case by case basis.

In Washington, DC, interns' responsibilities will vary, key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phones
  • Researching legislation for the member and legislative staff
  • Attending hearings and briefings
  • Giving capitol tours
  • Answer constituent letters on various issues before the House
  • Other duties as assigned

Ohio ties are preferred but not required.
