Appropriations Requests
Each year, Congress is responsible for funding federal agencies and the programs, grants, and other services they administer through the appropriations process.
The annual appropriations process grants Representative Beatty the opportunity to advocate for programs and services that are beneficial to Ohio's Third Congressional District and the constituents she represents. All appropriations requests for Fiscal Year 2026 – programmatic, language, and Community Project Funding (CPF) – must be submitted via the forms below by MONDAY, APRIL 21 at 6 PM.
Three types of appropriations requests may be submitted:
- Programmatic Request: A request for general support or a specific funding level in the bill for a specific program.
- Language Requests: A request to include specific bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity, but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action by an agency.
- Community Project Funding (CPF) Requests: A request to direct funds to a specific state or local governmental entity or eligible non-profit recipient to carry out a specific community project.
Fiscal Year 2026 Programmatic and Language Requests:
Our office is currently accepting programmatic and language requests for Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations. House Committee on Appropriations guidance for programmatic and language requests can be found here. If you would like to submit a programmatic or language request for Fiscal Year 2026, please do so here.
Fiscal Year 2026 Community Project Funding Requests:
Per House Appropriations Committee guidance, Members are able to submit up to 15 projects for Community Project Funding in FY 2026. All projects will be required to meet the eligibility and other requirements set forth by the House Committee on Appropriations in order to be considered. General guidance for CPF requests from the House Committee on Appropriations can be found here. Please review this guidance, along with the Subcommittee specific guidance listed below, carefully to ensure all eligibility criteria are met.
Unfortunately, CPFs submitted to the Committee in FY 2025 were not included in the Continuing Resolution that was enacted in March 2025 to fund the government through the end of Fiscal Year 2025. These projects are eligible for resubmission in Fiscal Year 2026 as long as they continue to comply with all of the Committee’s eligibility criteria for this cycle. Please note continued project eligibility and updated letters of support are required for any projects that were submitted but did not receive funding in the FY 2025 appropriations cycle.
All CPF requests are due by MONDAY, APRIL 21 at 6 PM. Late or incomplete requests will not be considered. To submit a request for Community Project Funding for Fiscal Year 2026, please complete the relevant form below:
