The outrageous number of names purged from voting rolls in recent years has surged, blocking the ballot box for millions of Americans. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (D-OH) wants to ban the practice entirely. SHe introduced on Wednesday the Save Voters Act which would bar states from purging potential voters based on their failure to vote or respond to a written notice, unless the notification is returned as undeliverable.

U.S. Rep. Joyce Beatty last week introduced a bill that would bar states from removing voters from the voting rolls because they had not voted in recent previous elections.

Many Americans were dissatisfied to learn that, according to a New York Times report, that the Treasury Department was already working on the redesign of the $20 bill bearing an image of Harriet Tubman when the Trump administration decided to delay the note's release until at least 2028.
