Rep. Joyce Beatty Remembers Victims and Survivors Twenty Years After the September 11th Terrorist Attacks
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Tomorrow, September 11, 2021, marks the 20th anniversary of one of the darkest days in our nation's history. Rep. Joyce Beatty (OH-03) joins Americans in coming together to honor and pay tribute to the more than 2,900 innocent people who lost their lives and over 6,000 who were injured as a result of coordinated terrorist attacks in New York City and the Pentagon and the crash of United 93 outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania. In recognition and remembrance of 9/11, Beatty issued the following statement:
"Two decades after our nation suffered a terrible blow, I join with the constituents of Ohio's Third Congressional District and all Americans in honoring the victims, survivors, families, service members, veterans, allies, and countless Americans whose lives have been forever changed by the 9/11 terror attacks. Our promise to ‘Never Forget' continues, as does our commitment to working together in solidarity to protect our nation, our values, and each other."
