Congresswoman Beatty Named White House Liaison for Democratic Women’s Caucus

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Democratic Women’s Caucus (DWC) announced the election of their new leadership and historic membership for the 118th Congress. U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) was named White House Liaison of the Democratic Women’s Caucus (DWC). 

“In my role as the new White House Liaison for the Democratic Women’s Caucus, I look forward to working hand in glove with the Biden-Harris Administration to ensure that women’s voices across this nation are heard in the most powerful halls of Washington,” said Beatty. “By working together to protect reproductive freedoms, eliminate enduring health disparities, and make critically-needed investments in childcare, we will fight to ensure that every woman in this nation — no matter her ZIP code or income — has the opportunity to thrive. When Women Succeed, America Succeeds!”

This Congress, a record-breaking 94 Democratic women are serving in the House of Representatives, all of whom are members of the Democratic Women’s Caucus—including 16 Democratic women newly elected in the 118th Congress. The Democratic Women’s Caucus in the 118th Congress will also be the most racially and ethnically diverse in history.
