Beatty Statement on Shootings in Dayton and El Paso

U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued this statement after the deadly shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas:
"My heart and prayers are with all those impacted by the shootings in my hometown of Dayton and in El Paso. In less than 24 hours, two communities have been flung into chaos, many innocent people have lost their lives, and many more have been injured.
While we pray for the victims, their family and friends, we must also commit to do more. Gun violence is a national emergency, and all of us have a role in helping eliminate this epidemic. That is why I remain committed to fighting gun violence. Enough is enough."
