Beatty Statement on Attending the 58^th Presidential Inauguration

COLUMBUS, OH – Today, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement regarding the 58^th Presidential Inauguration:

"I will be attending the 58^th Presidential Inauguration in line with my official duties. However, I remain deeply concerned about the stances of several of President-elect Trump's Cabinet nominees as well as his comments about immigrants, minorities, women and most recently Civil Rights icon Congressman John Lewis. I respect those boycotting and join them in standing up for justice, fair and equal treatment, and in defending the rights of all Americans."
