WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, August 28, 2020, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03), Vice-Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, will address the nation—from the exact location Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his "I Have a Dream Speech" 57 years earlier—at the Commitment March: Get Your Knee Off Our Necks. A crowd of more than 50,000 people are expected to gather at the Lincoln Memorial to call for criminal justice reform, racial equality, and to highlight the historic legacy of the 1963 March on Washington.
