Congresswoman Beatty Recognized as Champion Against Income Inequality

U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-3) recently received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Annual Catholic Justice Scorecard for Congress released by NETWORK Lobby. The Scorecard evaluated all Members of Congress for their work to address income inequality. In response, Beatty said the following:

"I have dedicated my life to advancing justice, peace, and economic equality. That is why I am proud to work with NETWORK and many other organizations to defend critical programs that feed hungry families, provide affordable housing, address the ever-growing wealth gap, and reform our broken criminal justice system. House Democrats have made progress on these fronts, but our work continues—and it is crucial that Senate Republicans join in the effort to create pathways to a brighter financial future for all Americans."
