Congresswoman Beatty Honors National POW/MIA Recognition Day
Every year, on the third Friday of September, our nation pauses to recognize National Prisoners of War / Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Recognition Day. In honor of the tens of thousands of American heroes who were POW/MIA and for those who still are missing in action or held as prisoners of war, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) proclaimed:
“On this most solemn of days, we remember the brave members of our Armed Forces who sadly are missing in action and all those held prisoner in service to our nation. Today and always, we remember their enduring commitment, selfless service and sacrifice, and we will not rest until each of them comes home to their loved ones."
