Congresswoman Beatty Celebrates Bike Month

Announcements

Celebrated every May, National Bike Month is an opportunity to showcase the many health, environmental, and societal benefits of using a bike for transportation. In recognition of the event, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) released the following statement.

"Cycling is the most environmentally stable means of transportation we have at our fingertips. And with the average American spending $2,600 on transportation to and from work, it is also one of the most economically-efficient modes of transportation. In that spirit, I encourage my constituents and all Americans to bike often, be it for transportation, recreation or health. Just remember to wear a helmet!"
