February 22, 2021
Announcements

February 22nd through February 26th is America Saves Week (ASW), a weeklong campaign to encourage more Americans to set a goal and make a plan to save more of their hard-earned money effectively. In recognition of ASW, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"As Co-Chair of the House Financial and Economic Literacy Caucus, I support policies and initiatives that make it easier for individuals and families to take greater control of their finances. In that spirit, I urge my constituents and Americans everywhere to make their financial well-being a top priority. Take the first step toward a brighter financial future this America Saves Week."

According to recent studies, nearly 60 percent of Americans have less than $1,000 in emergency savings, and some 40 percent report having no savings whatsoever. To learn more about ASW, please visit AmericaSaves.org.
