Calling All OH-03 High School Artists! | 2021 Congressional Art Competition
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent across the country and in each congressional district. Since the Congressional Art Competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.
Once again, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty and the Third Congressional District of Ohio are participating in the Congressional Art Competition and look forward to seeing student submissions. Given the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the process of submitting pieces of art has been altered. Students and their parents are encouraged to submit student work by taking a photograph of the piece of art and emailing that photo to email@example.com. Artwork can also be submitted in-person to the District Office by appointment only April 12th through April 16th. Call (614) 220-0003 to schedule artwork drop-off.
Submissions will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Friday, April 16th.
An art release form MUST be completed and included with submission(s). Please note, as always, our office reserves the right to disqualify any submission deemed in violation of the rules and regulations. The spirit of the competition is to encourage originality, authenticity, and above all, creativity. If students are unable to complete the form, please email the required information to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Beatty's District Office at (614) 220-0003.
