Beatty Strongly Supports American Red Cross Month

Announcements

March is American Red Cross Month, an important opportunity to increase visibility around the vital resources and services provided by the American Red Cross. Celebrating Red Cross Month, U.S. Congresswoman Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"When Americans hear ‘Red Cross,' most think of donating blood, but the American Red Cross does so much more. In addition to providing over 40 percent of our nation's blood and blood component supply, the Red Cross plays a critical role in training and certifying health professionals, including those working on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19. Moreover, the Red Cross coordinates disaster relief, assists military families, and supports international aid. This month and every month, I encourage everyone to ‘Be A Hero' by donating their time, blood, and talents to their local Red Cross."
