Beatty Reflects on Significance of Holocaust Remembrance Day

April 24, 2017 is Holocaust Remembrance Day, a day to remember the countless victims of the Holocaust, including more than six million Jews. In response, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we solemnly reflect upon one of the most horrific chapters in history while summoning our collective resolve to never again allow such terror and inhumanity to take hold. In that spirit, and on the 74^th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising—when hundreds of Jews stood up and fought back against Nazi forces— it is incumbent on all of us to honor the memory and the legacy of the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and their families."
