Beatty Receives High Marks on 2016 Humane Scorecard
The Humane Society Legislative Fund released its 2016 Humane Scorecard. This year, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) was awarded an “A” rating for her strong support of animal protection legislation considered in the U.S. House of Representatives. Following the Scorecard’s release, Beatty said:
“I am once again honored to receive an ‘A’ rating from the Humane Society Legislative Fund. It is important to do more to protect and promote the safety and well-being of all animals. That is why I will continue to support this important work in the weeks and months ahead.”
Established in 2004 as an independent affiliate of the Humane Society of the United States, the Humane Society Legislative Fund works to pass animal protection laws at all levels of government to better educate the public about animal protection issues.
