Statement on the Passing of Officer Sean R. Johnson

U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement on the passing of Hilliard Division of Police Officer Sean Johnson:

“I want to extend my deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Officer Sean Johnson. His passing reminds us all of the dedicated service and incredible sacrifice members of law enforcement make each and every day. Central Ohio has lost a selfless public servant.”

Sean R. Johnson was a member of the Hilliard Division of Police for 16 years. Prior to joining the Hilliard Police, Officer Johnson served with the Fairfield County Sherriff’s Office. Johnson was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his two children, his mother and family.
