Congresswoman Beatty's Statement on the ICE Killing in Minneapolis

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following comment on the ICE shooting of a civilian woman in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

“I am outraged by the unnecessary killing of an unarmed woman near a Minnesota ICE operation by a masked ICE agent. This tragedy stems from a reckless federal operation carried out over the objections of local leaders. These actions are not making our communities safer. They are spreading fear, chaos, and death. ICE must be held fully accountable. I am praying for the victim’s loved ones and stand with the people of Minneapolis against this cruelty and extremism.”
