Congresswoman Beatty Announces $5.7 Million Grant to Fight Cancer in Central Ohio

COLUMBUS, OH—The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Cancer Institute (NCI) recently awarded $5,751,010 to The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute to continue providing world-class cancer care and research. In response, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"For more than 30 years, The James has been resolute in its mission to save lives and create a cancer-free world. This NCI-sponsored grant will be a tremendous resource for The James and its dedicated, determined team of leading healthcare professionals who are providing hope and making a difference in the lives of nearly 800,000 patients and their families every year."
