The Democratic Congresswoman is a staunch advocate for women's rights, supporting groups like the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion.

Joyce is pro-choice and supports access to safe, legal abortions without restrictions. She co-sponsored the Women's Health Protection Act which banned anti-abortion limitations on services.

She has also been a longtime advocate to end human trafficking, introducing legislation that was signed into law by President Obama.
