ABSENTEE VOTING

Requesting an absentee ballot and absentee voting is done in a three-step process.

  1. Request an application by calling the Franklin County Board of Elections at 614-525-3100 or by visiting the Franklin County Board of Elections website.
  2. Turn in application.
  3. Receive ballot and make selections. Be sure to include signature, date of birth, last four digits of Social Security number, and driver license number.

Ballot MUST be postmarked by Monday, November 2, 2020 and received within 10 days of November 3, 2020. Please note that completed absentee ballots can also be dropped off at the Franklin County Board of Elections (1700 Morse Road, Columbus, OH 43229)

Voters requesting/completing an absentee ballot can track the status using BallotTrax at www.franklincountyvotes.com.

Voters are strongly encouraged to request and/or return an absentee ballot sooner rather than later. For more information about the upcoming, please go to vote.franklincountyohio.gov.

EARLY VOTING

Eligible voters who prefer to vote in-person early may do at the Franklin County Board of Elections (1700 Morse Road, Columbus OH 43229) during the following dates and hours.

October 6 -16
(Weekdays Only - Monday through Friday)
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

October 19 – 23
(Weekdays Only - Monday through Friday)
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday, October 24
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Sunday, October 25
1:00 – 5:00 PM

October 26 -30

8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

ELECTION PROTECTION

The national, nonpartisan Election Protection Coalition has established a series of phone numbers to report a problem or for general election/voting questions.
