#EndALZ | Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month
June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, a month-long campaign dedicated to increasing awareness and advocating for greater investment in scientific and medical research around Alzheimer’s and dementia. To mark Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:
“Alzheimer’s and dementia’s collective impact cannot be overstated. Right now, there are more than six million people living with Alzheimer’s in America—and the number continues to grow by the day—but countless more family members, friends, and neighbors feel its effects too. As a strong supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and dedicated advocate, I will continue to do everything in my power to see that Congress provides the necessary federal funding to better diagnose, treat, prevent, and ultimately #EndALZ.”
