Congresswoman Beatty Recognizes National Women's Small Business Month

October is National Women's Small Business Month (NWSBM), a month-long celebration dedicated to recognizing the advancements and the positive impact of women entrepreneurs in our communities. A former small business owner, U.S. Congresswoman Beatty (OH-3) issued the following statement in support of NWSBM:

"Today, there are more than 9.4 million firms owned by women that employ nearly 8 million people according to the National Association of Women Business Owners. While women business owners have made much progress, Congress can do more to support and promote all small business owners. As a former small business owner, I know the dedication and courage it takes to be an entrepreneur— so I encourage everyone to support women-owned small businesses year-round.
