Announcements

This week, May 6-12, 2020, our nation celebrates National Nurses Week (NNW), a campaign to salute the hardwork and dedication of our nation's nurses. This year's celebration is all the more timely as we honor all those who work tremendous hours on the frontlines delivering top notch healthcare to patients in our hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and nursing homes confronting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. To mark NNW, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"During these unprecedented times, we have all witnessed the unbelievable acts of heroism by nurses across the country. In that spirit—this week and every week of the year—I call on my constituents, Ohioans, and all Americans to join together to recognize the more than three million dedicated nurses who are working on the frontlines to provide care, compassion, and saving lives."
