Announcements

The Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Action Council awarded U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty's (OH-03) the highest score possible on their 2020 Legislative Report Card. Beatty's exceptional score was based on her long-time commitment to advancing and supporting various bills, programs, and policies to ensure every child has an opportunity to thrive at school, home, and in the community. In response, Beatty said:

"I am dedicated to being a voice for the voiceless, and perhaps no other portion of my constituency—or our nation—is more vulnerable than our children. That is why, in and out of Congress, I have worked hard on behalf of Central Ohio youth and their families. Going forward, I promise to continue fighting alongside my congressional colleagues, the Children's Defense Fund, and many other organizations to guarantee all children—no matter their zip code—can achieve the American Dream."

Founded in 1973, the CDF is a national nonprofit that champions policies and programs focused on the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of America's youth. To learn more about CDF, please visit ChildrensDefense.org.
