Congresswoman Beatty Observes Women's History Month

March 1st marks the beginning of Women's History Month, the annual celebration of the vital role women have played in every facet of American history. In celebration of Women's History Month, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) released the following statement:

"Thanks to the work of countless brave women, this year marks a century since women were granted suffrage; but that should not be the beginning nor the end of our story as women. Women's History Month gives us the opportunity to both reflect upon the successes of the women who came before us, and look ahead as we work to create a better world for our daughters and granddaughters. I am excited to continue my work in Congress fighting for women's equality, starting with passing the Paycheck Fairness Act. In that spirit, I encourage Central Ohioans and all Americans to join me in celebrating Women's history, because when women succeed, America succeeds."

During Women's History Month, be sure to visit Congresswoman Beatty's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube to see, hear, and learn the latest. Also, do not forget to join the conversation online by using: #WomensHistoryMonth or #WHM2019.
