Congresswoman Beatty Named Conservation Champion
Defenders of Wildlife recently released their Conservation Report Card for the 116th Congress. U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) was awarded a perfect score of 100 percent for her commitment to protecting animals and plants in their natural habitats. In response, Beatty said:
"Protecting the environment and our wildlife is of critical importance to me, so I am proud to be recognized by Defenders of Wildlife for my steadfast support of crucial conservation programs. From the bald eagle to the wolf, and every animal in between, we have a duty to protect our cherished wildlife and ensure their survival for generations to come."
