Congresswoman Beatty Marks National Public Health Week

Each year, during the first full week of April, our country observes National Public Health Week (NPHW), which runs this year from April 2nd to April 8th. In response, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"This week, join me in recognizing National Public Health Week and the important role public health professionals, programs, and initiatives play in our nation. I encourage my constituents to join me in ‘celebrating the power of prevention, advocating for healthy policies, and championing the role of a strong public health system.' Together, we can build stronger, motivated and healthier communities."
