Congresswoman Beatty Marks National POW/MIA Recognition Day

Every year, on the third Friday of September, our nation pauses to recognize National Prisoners of War / Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Recognition Day. In honor of the tens of thousands of American heroes who were POW/MIA and for those who still are missing in action or held as prisoners of war, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"On this most solemn of days, we remember the many brave men and women of our Armed Forces who sadly are missing in action and all those who were held prisoner in service to our nation. Today, and always, may we never forget their selfless service and sacrifice—we will not rest until each and every one of them comes home to their loved ones."
