Congresswoman Beatty Honors Jewish American Heritage Month
In 2006, former President George W. Bush proclaimed May as Jewish American Heritage Month, a month-long celebration highlighting the history, culture and significant contributions of Jewish Americans. In recognition, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) said:
"For over 360 years and counting the Jewish American community has made countless contributions to our nation that have altered the course of American history for the better and made our country stronger. That is why, I encourage everyone to join me in celebrating Jewish American Heritage Month and recognition of all Jewish Americans."
