Announcements

Today, March 8th, is International Women's Day (IWD), a global celebration of the countless social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year's theme is "I Am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights."To highlight the importance of IWD, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"On International Women's Day, we honor the numerous examples of bold women breaking traditional societal roles and expectations and going on to accomplish what many deemed to be the impossible. However, far too many women and girls are not afforded the opportunity to reach their full potential. That is why I am working to enact and support policies that promote women's full equality in the workplace, at home, and in every facet of life. Today and everyday, let's pledge to be ‘Generation Equality.'"
