Congresswoman Beatty Celebrates Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month, a month-long campaign to commemorate and recognize the vital role of women throughout American history. To mark the start of Women's History Month, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) released the following statement:

"Every year, our nation pauses to reflect on the countless successes and important gains made by women throughout our shared history. We remember those bold, courageous trailblazers who broke down barriers and helped to advance greater equality for women. However, we must not lose sight of the fact that many obstacles still stand in the way of ensuring all women have an equal opportunity at achieving the American Dream. That is why I urge my constituents, fellow Ohioans, and people across this great country to join me in working to build an America where all have the power to reach their full potential—because when women succeed, America succeeds!"

During March, please be sure to visit Congresswoman Beatty's Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and website to see, hear, and learn the latest. Also, do not forget to join the conversation online by using: #WomensHistoryMonth or #WHM2018.
