Congresswoman Beatty Celebrates Public Schools Week
February 24 through 28th is Public Schools Week, a celebration of the pivotal role teachers, administrators, counselors, principals, aides, and school staff play in the shaping and molding of our nation's youngest minds both inside and outside the classroom. In recognition of Public Schools Week, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) released the following statement:
"Our nation's public-school system is responsible for educating nine of every ten students, equipping them with the tools, resources, and critical thinking skills to succeed at home, work, school, and in the community. To that effect, I salute the more than three million teachers across America, including those in Ohio's Third Congressional District, who dedicate their time, effort, and energy to empower the next generation of leaders."
