Announcements

Every October, we celebrate National Women's Small Business Month (NWSMBM) to recognize the importance of our nation's female entrepreneurs. As a former small business owner herself, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"As a former small business owner, I know firsthand the dedication, courage, and hard-work it takes to be an entrepreneur. According to the National Association of Women Business Owners, one in five businesses are owned by women, accounting for a combined payroll of $293.1 billion. That is why I am working in Congress to support and promote entrepreneurship, American small businesses, and salute all women small business owners for their contributions to our economy. When women succeed, America succeds!"
