Congresswoman Beatty Celebrates National Women's Small Business Month

During October, we celebrate National Women's Small Business Month (NWSBM) to recognize the importance of women entrepreneurs. As a former small business owner, U.S. Congresswoman Beatty (OH-3) issued the following statement in support of NWSBM:

"According to the National Association of Women Business Owners, one in five businesses are owned by woman, accounting for a combined payroll of $293.1 billion. As a former small business owner, I know the dedication, courage, and hard work it takes to be an entrepreneur. That is why I am working in Congress to support and promote entrepreneurship, American small businesses, and I salute all women small business owners for their contributions to our economy. When women succeed, America succeeds!"
