Congresswoman Beatty Celebrates National Immigrant Heritage Month
Immigrant Heritage Month is a month-long initiative dedicated to celebrating our nation’s rich immigrant community. To paraphrase Maya Angelou, ‘in diversity, there is beauty and there is strength.’ With that in mind, and to mark National Immigrant Heritage Month, U.S Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) said:
“Today, over 40 million immigrants call the United States ‘home.’ The fabric of America is stronger, more bountiful and vibrant as a result of immigrants. This month and all year long, let us celebrate the rich cultures, wonderful tradition, and incomparable contributions of immigrants past and present that make America great.”
