Congresswoman Beatty Celebrates National Adoption Month

November 21, 2020
Announcements

November is National Adoption Month, an annual campaign that aims to raise awareness on adoption and to advocate for children and their forever families. As a strong supporter of adoption, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"Adopting a child is one of the most generous acts of love a new parent can make, and it is far more common than you might think. In fact, close to 100 million Americans have adoption in their immediate family. Yet, sadly, too many children in the foster care system will age out. In that spirit, let's work to reverse this trend and help more children find their 'forever families.'"
