June 30, 2020
Announcements

June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month, a month dedicated to increasing awareness and advocating for further scientific and medical advancement into Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. To mark the month-long observance, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"There are over five million people living with Alzheimer's across the country, meaning each of us likely knows someone who is impacted by the disease—maybe it's a family member, friend, neighbor, or even you. That is why it is important that Congress fund and support greater research into Alzheimer's disease and dementia. In that spirit, I promise to continue to advocate for greater federal investment in research as well as related assistance and support services."
