Beatty Receives Perfect Score From Human Rights Campaign

On October 8th, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) released its Congressional Scorecard for the 114th Congress, a measure of Members of Congress’ voting record on LGBTQ equality. U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) earned a perfect score of 100 percent. In response, Beatty said:

“I am very proud to receive a perfect score from the Human Rights Campaign and stand in solidarity with them the issues important to LGBTQ Americans. Discrimination and hate have no place in our society.”

Founded in 1980, HRC is the largest LGBT civil rights advocacy group organization in the United States. Representing more than 1.5 million members and supporters, HRC is working to create a world where all people are ensured basic equal rights and can be open, honest and safe at home, work and in the community.
