Beatty Highlights the Importance of National Diabetes Month

November is National Diabetes Month, a time when communities across the country come together to raise awareness on diabetes and its impact on millions of Americans. In response, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement:

"Did you know that more than 1.5 million Americans will be diagnosed with diabetes this year? That is why it is imperative all people know more about the risk factors, symptoms, and treatment of diabetes. This month and all year long, I encourage you to talk with your doctor about diabetes because we know that early detection is key."
