Beatty Celebrates Teacher Appreciation Day

Today, May 8, 2018, Americans everywhere are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day. Coinciding with Teacher Appreciation Week (May 7th to May 11), the awareness campaign is an important opportunity to recognize and thank teachers for their work in and outside the classroom. In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Day, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) said:

"In schools across this great country, teachers are inspiring, motivating and changing the lives of millions of young people. This week and every week, I commend the dedication, hard work and selfless service of our country's more than three million public school teachers--especially those in Ohio's Third Congressional District--who are helping generations of young people succeed at school, home, work and in the community."
