Congresswoman Beatty Recognizes Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
During the month of March, like-minded organizations, advocates, and stakeholders mark Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month by banding together to help raise awareness of Americans with developmental disabilities.
“At a time when nearly one in six American children will be diagnosed with a developmental disability during their lifetime, it is important to remember that living with a disability does not mean inability,” U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) said. “That is why this Developmental Disability Awareness Month and all year long, I encourage my constituents to join me in recognizing the amazing contributions Americans living with developmental disabilities have made to our past, present, and future.”
