Wounded Warrior Begins Fellowship in Beatty’s Office

Veteran to assist fellow former servicememebers in need

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Robert Weilbacher started a two year fellowship in U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty’s (OH-03) District Office in Columbus, Ohio. Weilbacher will serve as the Congresswoman’s veterans case worker, managing a range of requests from Veterans and military families living in Ohio’s Third Congressional District.

The Congresswoman was one of a handful of Members selected to participate in the Wounded Warrior Program because of her commitment to our nation’s brave men and women in uniform – both at home and abroad.

Established in 2008, the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program supports and expands employment opportunities for veterans within the House of Representatives. Fellowships last up to two years and give veterans the experience necessary to succeed in the workplace.
