Beatty Scores a 100 Percent on AFGE’s 2015 Voting Record

Organization recognizes Congresswoman Beatty’s commitment to federal employees

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), AFL-CIO, the nation’s largest federal employee union, recognized U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) for her support of hardworking American families.

Beatty’s 100 percent score, the maximum possible, is based on key votes on a range of issues. From expanding access to high-quality, affordable healthcare to protecting the pocketbooks of the American people, as well as standing up for organized labor, Beatty has remained a steadfast advocate for the people and organizations that make America strong.

Since 1932, AFGE has proudly represented federal government employees. Every day, government workers inspect the food we eat and the places we work. They also work to maintain the safety of our nation’s borders, protect the homeland and economy, care for our nation’s veterans, stymy the illicit flow of drugs, ensure our country is prepared for an emergency, and much more.

Today, AFGE represents more than 670,000 individuals nationwide and overseas.
