Beatty's Strong Conservation Record Recognized by Defenders of Wildlife

Defenders of Wildlife recently released their Conservation Report Card for the 114th Congress. The Defenders of Wildlife awarded U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) a perfect score of 100 percent for her commitment to protecting animals and plants in their natural habitats. In response, Beatty said:

"Protecting the environment and our wildlife is of critical importance to our nation. That is why I am so proud to be recognized by Defenders of Wildlife, a group of steadfast supporters of conservation and environmental programs. From the bald eagle to the jaguar and every animal in between, we have a duty to protect our cherished wildlife and ensure their survival for generations to come."

Founded in 1947, Defenders of Wildlife is a major national conservation organization focused on wildlife and habitat conservation and the safeguarding of biodiversity. For more information or to see the full Conservation Report Card, please visit the Defenders of Wildlife's website.
