Beatty Earns 100 Percent on National Food Policy Scorecard

Today Food Policy Action (FPA) released its National Food Policy Scorecard for the 114th Congress. FPA awarded U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) a perfect score as a result of her support for sustainable food and farming practices. In response, Beatty issued the following statement:

“I am honored to be recognized as a ‘food policy leader’ by the FPA. It is imperative for the long-term health and well-being of all Americans and our ecosystem to ensure healthy, affordable, environment-friendly food. Sustainable food and farming is a win-win for consumers and farmers, and I intend to continue to support these sensible policies in the future.”

Established in 2012, FPA is a collaboration of national food policy organizations to hold legislators accountable on votes that have an effect on food and farming. To learn more, or to view the Scorecard, please visit the FPA website.
